The general meeting will be held at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.
Bill McClure moved to St. Augustine in 2004. He attended the University of Florida and the University of South Florida. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he studied in Harvard University’s Advanced Management Program as a graduate student.
McClure began his political training as a Senate Page in the Florida Senate, and then continued as a Political Aide to Florida Senator George Kirkpatrick, from Gainesville. He was active in the campaigns of former Florida Governor Bob Graham, Florida’s US Congressman Cliff Stearns, and President George W. Bush.
After winning the Primary Election in August 2012, Mr. McClure ran unopposed as a Republican in the November 2012 General Election, and attended his first meeting as a St. Johns County Commissioner on November 20, 2012.
Commissioner McClure will be updating the audience on various issues regarding his experiences with the Board of County Commissioners.
