Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Downtown St. Augustine
Complete closure of the Bridge of Lions and Avenida Menendez from the Castillo de San Marcos to King Street from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday (tonight) for the City of St. Augustine’s Fireworks over the Matanzas event.
Daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Cordova and King Streets adjacent to the Casa Monica hotel for painting the building. Also, daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on King and St. George Streets adjacent to the Lyon’s building for painting the building. Daytime northbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday over the FEC railroad approximately one mile north of SR-207 for routine bridge maintenance.
CR-210
Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. west of US-1 while a new overpass is constructed.
SR-A1A (Coastal Highway)
Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Beachcomber Way in Vilano Beach to the Guana River State Park for tree trimming.

Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Barnes Farm Road just east of SR-207 to MC Heather Lane for shoulder repairs.
SR-312
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from US-1 to SR-A1A.
US-1
Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from SR-206 to Double Gate Road for ditch cleaning.
Shoulder closures from CR-210 to the Nocatee flyover for construction at CR-210.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to the Duval County line.
