Guest Column: Americans didn’t invent freedom

Americans didn’t invent freedom. It was given to us by God, and we’ve embraced it unlike any other country in the history of the world.
The founders relied on Divine Providence, and we can’t forget that.
I often hear people say that a relationship with God and love of politics doesn’t mix. Politics can be nasty. But I don’t think God wants us sit idly and watch our country crumble around us.
We have a duty to protect what we have been blessed with by God -– standing up for liberty and truth. I think many Americans forget that the fight for freedom is never over.
