I wanted to put together a few reminders for voting for your readers who have not already voted.
Early voting ended Saturday 8/23, so here are your options for voting:
Monday:
By absentee ballot at:

Between the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PMStill need to return your absentee ballot? There is a 24 hr. drop box in front of the Elections Office. The red absentee ballot drop boxes are still available Monday and Tuesday; they will be picked up at 5 PM on Election Day. In order to be counted, an absentee ballot MUST be returned to the Elections Office by 7:00 PM on Election Day.

Tuesday – Election Day:
You are required to vote in the precinct of your legal residence on Election Day. The polls are open 7 AM – 7 PM.
[alert-note]Due to a law change, voting by absentee ballot at the Elections Office on Election Day is now restricted to emergency circumstances only. Should a voter have an emergency situation and be unable to vote at their precinct on Election Day, you will be required to complete an affidavit and state the reason of your emergency prior to voting.[/alert-note]

Current and valid ID are required when voting in person. If you do not have proper ID, you may vote a provisional ballot.
If your address has changed, please call us before you go to vote so we can update your information and send you to the correct polling place. This can be a real time saver.
