Public Works Deputy Director, Todd Grant, reported to Historic City News that the City of St Augustine will hold an open house meeting on Thursday, February 27, to discuss conceptual plans for the upcoming South Dixie Highway construction project.
Work on the roadway, between West King Street and SR-207, involves improving stormwater drainage, installing five foot wide sidewalks on both sides of the road, installing a four foot wide bicycle lane on both sides of the road, replacing the box culvert at Oyster Creek, and additional minor water and sewer improvements as needed.
The informational open house is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., to be held in the Alcazar Room, located on the ground floor of City Hall at 75 King Street in St Augustine.
