Local charities benefit from womanless beauty pageant

Young Professionals of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that they hosted their annual “Womanless Beauty Pageant” to raise money for local charities at an awesome event that took place at the White Room downtown.

MMA Fighter Phil Cardella, owner of Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of St. Augustine, and Jaime Parham, President of the St. Johns Young Republicans, doing their part in contributing to the charity event. McClure is very involved in growing existing business and supporting young entrepreneurs and professionals in our County.

“There were so many great sponsors and competitors it’s hard to list them all, but Bozard Ford really stepped up; leading more than one brave guy to humble himself for a cause,” Jaime Parham, St Johns Young Republicans President said. “It really took some guts to get up and put yourself out there like that,” Parham told local reporters. “The competition was rough, they all tried their hardest to win for their charity.”

Young Professionals reported raising almost $23,000 for St. Augustine and St. Johns County charities. St Johns County Commissioner Bill McClure raised almost $10,000 for Bay View Health, and was the winner of the pageant competition. McClure is very involved in growing existing business and supporting young entrepreneurs and professionals in our County.

• St. Johns Youth Football
• The Homeless Coalition
• HEAT

The sold-out event was the talk of the town, and a great time was had by all.
