Nolan will address Civic Association Roundtable

Rick Lofgren, President of the St Johns County Civic Association, has invited Historic City News readers to attend their monthly Roundtable Meeting on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the St. Augustine Airport Conference Center second floor meeting room.

After a brief business meeting that includes reading and approval of minutes of the previous meeting and the financial report, the audience will hear a presentation from guest speaker, David Nolan.

Nolan is a noted author, who wrote Fifty Feet on Paradise: The Booming of Florida, The Houses of St Augustine, and The Book Lovers Guide to Florida.

In addition to narrating the Freedom Trail Tour and being a frequent speaker on the Civil Rights movement in St Augustine, Nolan also has been very active in campaigns to save from demolition the Bridge of Lions, Lightkeepers House, and other St Augustine landmarks.
