Police need your help to identify Robbery suspect

Historic City News readers are being asked to help identify a man who law enforcement officers say stole a tag from a motor vehicle and possibly committed other crimes.

The victim of a March 13 robbery, that occurred in Deland, provided the tag number of the vehicle driven by their assailant. Detectives initially responded to assist in locating the vehicle, which was registered in St Johns County.

Robbery detectives attempted to contact the owner of the vehicle, only to learn that the Florida tag was stolen in recent months.

Surveillance footage was captured during the robbery in Deland.
