Real estate professionals say Kendall is best choice for county commission

When the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors informed local Historic City News reporters in St Augustine that they had decided to support St Johns County Commission candidate Kim Kendall in her bid to unseat incumbent Ron Sanchez, it was no surprise — after all, the real estate industry is critical to all of us on many levels.

The Association represents more than 5,000 Realtors and business partner members; not only in St Johns County, but also in Duval, Clay, and Putnam counties; making them the largest professional trade association in northeast Florida.

“St Johns County’s Realtors have continued to support the dream of homeownership for local families despite financially turbulent times,” Kendall told Historic City News editor Michael Gold this afternoon. “The creativity and determination shown by our professional Realtors is inspirational — I do not take this endorsement for granted.”

The recommendation by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors augments Kendall’s growing list of impressive endorsements; including Florida Senator Steve Wise, St Augustine Airport Authority chairman, Bob Cox, co-founder of the St. Johns Middle School Athletic Association, Keith Martin, former Ponte Vedra Federated Republican Women’s Club president, Toni Crawford, and others.

“I’ve been impressed with Kim Kendall’s dedication, energy and focus,” said chairman and founder of Watson Realty Corp, Bill Watson. “She will make an outstanding St. Johns County Commissioner.”
