Historic City News readers are invited to attend when the new Seaside Wildlife Garden gets its official welcome to St. Augustine Beach.
The dedication ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Johns County Cultural Council’s Cultural Center at St. Augustine Pier.
“This will be the place for birds, butterflies and St. Johns County residents,” C.J. McCartney told local news reporters. “Master Gardener volunteers designed and installed this new wildlife garden with recycled materials and all plants were propagated and donated by the community.”
The Cultural Center at St. Augustine Beach is located south of the Pier inside the landmark historical buildings that previously housed the City of St. Augustine Beach’s government offices.
