Historic City News readers are invited to participate with members of the St Johns County Chamber of Commerce tomorrow evening for a very special “behind the scenes” tour of El Galeon Andalucia; docked at the St Augustine Municipal Marina, located at 111 Avenida Menendez in St Augustine.
This complementary tour, Wednesday, February 5th, beginning at 6:30 p.m., is available thanks to a limited engagement arranged by Adam Shockey, CEO of Tour St Augustine, Inc., operators of St Augustine City Walks, Ghost Tours of St Augustine, and St Augustine Black Heritage Tours.
“The Tourism and Hospitality Council members and guests will attend a privately guided tour of the 495-ton, 16th century replica wooden ship, El Galeon Andalucia,” Shockey reported to Historic City News. “Join us for a chance to meet some of the crew members and discuss future activities that are possible with the Fundacion Nao Victoria; the non-profit educational foundation that owns and curates El Galeon Andalucia.”
Fundacion Nao Victoria also operates a sister ship, the 16th century Nao Victoria.
