This morning, a St Johns County Judge will decide if a 27-year-old St. Johns County man and a 49-year-old Flagler County woman will be granted bail; their arrests were reported to Historic City News yesterday afternoon — each are facing charges of capital sexual battery.

Monday, sheriff’s detectives attached to the Special Victims Unit began an investigation after several children, all under the age of 12, reported to Flagler County school district employees that they had been molested.

“We have taken into custody William Clarence Dillow, who resides at 3710 Pacetti Road in St Johns County, and Rhonda Lynn Wilkerson who lives at Flagler Beach,” Kevin Kelshaw told local Historic City News reporters.

Child Protection Team members also spoke to the children in order to determine the extent of injuries sustained in each case.

A search warrant for the Pacetti Road residence was served Tuesday afternoon.. Evidence seized in that search has not been released; however, due to the high degree of the crimes, the decision to arrest the subjects was made and conducted, without incident, at that time.

Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
