The City’s Visioning Committee reported to Historic City News that they will convene Monday, December 15th for the purpose of reviewing suggestions offered during last month’s public town hall meeting.
The committee’s meeting begins at 3:30 p.m. in The Alcazar Room of City Hall, located at 75 King Street in St Augustine. The public is welcome to attend, or visit www.CoSATV.com for live or on-demand viewing.
Nearly a hundred members of the community turned out for a town hall meeting at the Willie Galimore Center to review and offer input on the work completed thus far by the steering committee.
After brief introductions, visioning facilitator Herb Marlowe divided the attendees into four groups each with two members of the steering committee leading a review and discussion centered on the most recent draft of the strategic positioning statement, a compilation of the work of the committee.

Steering committee members carefully noted the feedback received from the town hall’s participants, which included residents from across the city, business owners from a variety of commercial segments, and members of the city commission. Based on the input received, the steering committee will review a revised strategic positioning statement at its meeting on Monday.
