“The first days of early voting have gone very smoothly,” St Johns County Supervisor of Elections told Historic City News this morning. “I am happy to see the voters turning out to take advantage of our services.”
A total of 7,740 voters have already cast their ballots during the first four days of early voting.
So far, the elections office reports that the Ponte Vedra Branch Library is the busiest early voting site. They have served over 400 voters daily who came to cast their ballots.
“At this time, voter traffic is steady at all locations, and there has not been any waiting to vote,” Oakes added. “We will be placing a link on our website to show wait times at each location as we get closer to Election Day.”
Voters are reminded to take a current and valid photo and signature ID with you when you go to the polls. If you do not, you must vote a provisional ballot.
