10th Annual St Johns Reads program

Les Standiford’s Florida themed book, “Last Train to Paradise: Henry Flagler and the Spectacular Rise and Fall of the Railroad that Crossed an Ocean”, has been selected for the 10th Annual St Johns Reads program; and, Debra Rhodes Gibson promises Historic City News readers it is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

“We encourage community members to join us in reading this year’s selection and to participate in a variety of events including book discussions, films, and presentations that will feature various elements of Florida’s history,” Gibson told local Historic City News reporters.
