Free Financial Workshops at your Library for all the Stages of your Life
Generations X and Y do you want to travel, buy a house, or retire someday? Do you need to learn how to build the funds to make those dreams come true? Baby boomers are you thinking about your retirement? Do you want to find out the best way to maximize your Social Security benefits? Seniors, are you getting older and thinking about how to leave your assets to your loved ones and not the government? The St. Johns County Public Library System and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA)* are teaming up to participate in the fourth annual Wi$e Money Week, April 26-May 2, 2015.
Financial Planning Workshops will be offered at four library locations. The Investing Workshop surveys the objectives, process, and products for growing your assets. The Social Security Workshop focuses on discussing practical issues important for those nearing retirement, including strategies to maximize Social Security benefits. The Estate Planning Workshop focuses on recent changes and upcoming changes in Estate Law that may affect your estate planning. The dates, times, and locations of the workshops are listed below.
