Credit is due to our staff of 60+ professional lifeguards who staffed an average of 20 lifeguard towers along 42 miles of coastline in St. Johns County from March – September.
These seasonal personnel supplemented by career firefighters are responsible for keeping our beaches safe during the summer beach season.
Although seasonal lifeguard staffing has concluded for 2015, ST JOHNS COUNTY FIRE RESCUE will continue 24-hour marine rescue response to reported emergencies on the beaches and waterways of St. Johns County.
