St. Johns County has informed Historic City News that they are currently accepting applications for volunteers interested in serving on the West Augustine Nuisance Abatement Board.
In addition to conducting hearings regarding complaints of public nuisances, the Board promotes, protects, and improves the health, safety and welfare of the citizens and businesses within the West Augustine Community Revitalization Area.
Applicants must have been a County resident for at least one year, be 18-years-old, or older, and reside or operate a business within the West Augustine CRA.
Members serve a term of two years. This board meets quarterly, and the application submission deadline is July 28, 2015. For additional information or to obtain an application, please call 904.209.0300.
