The Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library offers ACT and SAT prep classes beginning Monday, February 2. The ACT 5-class series meets at 5pm and the SAT 5-class series meets at 6:30pm on February 2, 9, and 23; March 2. Practice tests for both classes are held at 5pm on March 9. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, email folbtl@gmail.com. Please provide the student’s name, grade, and specify which exam: ACT or SAT.
FAFSA Workshop

St. Johns Reads Event: End of the Line: A Genealogical and Historical Examination

The 1935 Labor Day hurricane destroyed an automobile highway being built by Bonus Army vets alongside the path originally blazed by Henry Flagler. More than 200 WWI vets on the project were killed. Join us as we examine evidence left by some of the veterans and learn how you can use similar records to research your ancestors from this time period.
St. Johns Reads Event: Florida Fixins for Fancy Folks

Travel back to the 1920s and 30s, to enjoy a sampling of cuisine inspired by a Florida East Coast Railway dining car menu. Dining aboard the Florida East Coast Railway was lush and renowned. Dining cars were of the latest design with attractive finish and were manned by experienced stewards, chefs, and waiters. Kitchens were equipped with up-to-date appliances for the preparation and serving of meals. Dining car menus showed a wide variety from which to make a selection, and delicious foods, including the famous citrus fruits of Florida. This free culinary event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library.
