Tuesday evening the candidates for Florida House of Representatives who survived the January primary, addressed an audience hosted by the St Augustine Beach Civic Association to discuss several issues of interest to area voters.
Historic City News editor Michael Gold, who was moderator for the District 17 Republican Special Primary candidates, returned to moderate the lively and informative discussion that included two Republicans, a Democrat, and a candidate with no party affiliation.
“One of my favorite subjects is politics,” Gold told Association president, Bill Jones. “I appreciate the opportunity to help residents learn more about their choices and prepare themselves to vote smart.”
Participants included:
House District 17: Cyndi Stevenson (R)
House District 17: Judy Stevens (NPA)
House District 24: Paul Renner (R)
House District 24: Adam Morley (D)
The event was broadcast live on Local Access Cable Channel 2 and will be streamed on-demand from the City of St Augustine Beach website throughout the early voting period.
