Two Georgia men were arrested on multiple charges of burglary of unoccupied conveyance and larceny early Tuesday morning, according to a report received by Historic City News.
The men allegedly broke into several parked vehicles using a brick to smash the car windows.
According to reports filed by Deputies Jon E Johnson II and Thomas Marmo, the pair was discovered when a car alarm awoke one of the victims.
The two suspects, identified as Joshua Scott Gibson, 27, Savannah, and Brandon Lee Roberts, 22, Kingsland were arrested and booked into the St Johns County Jail.
Additional property was discovered in the pair’s vehicle. It was identified by other victims of previous burglaries and was returned to the rightful owners.
Gibson remains in custody in lieu of $9,500.00 bail. Roberts remains in custody in lieu of $11,000.00 bail. A court date has not been set.
