City offices will close for Veterans Day, Parade starts at 10:45

Local Historic City News reporters were informed that although solid waste collection schedules remain unchanged, the offices of the City of St Augustine will close in observance of Veterans Day; Wednesday, November 11.

The Veterans Day parade, scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, will necessitate parking restrictions and some road closures.

Expect rerouting of traffic and restrictions on parking in the downtown area. The parade is expected to conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m. with traffic cleared by 1:30 p.m. Parking along the parade route will be restricted until the conclusion of the parade.

The parade route begins at Francis Field, continuing east on West Castillo Drive, south on South Castillo Drive and Avenida Menendez, then west on Cathedral Place, then north on Cordova Street; finally returning to Francis Field.
