Historic City News is pleased to report that, earlier today, the City of St Augustine published essential documents online that are expected to quell the rising demand for information by the public regarding the millions of dollars that have been spent on the 450th Commemoration.
Mayor Shaver and City Manager John Regan met with Historic City News editor Michael Gold this morning for a briefing on the outcome of yesterday’s summit meeting.
“In response to inquiries by the public and commissioners themselves during the March 23rd meeting of the St. Augustine City Commission, financial information relative to the 450th Commemoration is now available online,” City Manager Regan reported.
The information, for ease of reference, is listed under four primary headings:
- Budgetary and Prior Year Comparison of Revenues and Expenditures (02.28.15)
- The revenue and expenses associated with the 450th Commemoration since 2008
- The accomplishments of the 450th Commemoration
- Key contracts related to the work of 450th Commemoration
