Commissioner McClure is guest speaker Tuesday

Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend the general meeting of the Saint Augustine Tea Party on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. held at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.

Our distinguished guest will be Hon. William A. McClure, St. Johns County Commissioner for District 3.

Bill McClure was elected to the Board in November 2012. His campaign focused on three major issues: (1) Less Government equals a more efficient government which can direct growth, with no new taxes; (2) Promote a business friendly environment, and (3) Ensure accountability with government spending.

With continued growth in tourism, residential and commercial development, our county faces many challenges. Commissioner McClure will address these challenges, including the controversial 1% sales tax increase. Here is your chance to express your opinion before the final vote on June 16th.
