Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A
Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Spyglass Condominiums entrance (8200 A1A South) to the Flagler County line for installing electric poles.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to a mile north of County Road 210 for construction of State Road 9B. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
I-95
Daytime shoulder closures Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from County Road 210 to U.S.1 for work on the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).
Nighttime northbound lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction.
State Road 13 at State Road 16 – Wards Creek
Daytime lane closures Monday through Saturday on both roads from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the Wards Creek bridge replacement project.
State Road 16 – Shands Bridge
Daytime lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
U.S. 1
Daytime lane closures Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Flagler County line to State Road 206 to take roadway samples in preparation for a future resurfacing project.
Nighttime lane closures Sunday at 9 p.m. through Friday at 6 a.m. at Lewis Point Road, Shore Drive and Bartola Genovar Road intersections to upgrade traffic signals.
