House District 17 Primary Winner: Cyndi Stevenson, St Augustine

Cyndi Stevenson is a Florida native and more than thirty year resident of Northeast Florida.  Tuesday she narrowly defeated St Augustine businessman, Mike Davis, and attorney Jack Capra in the Republican Special Primary Election.  She faces opposition in the April Special General Election.

As a St. Johns County Commissioner Stevenson has been a champion for streamlining government by reducing overly burdensome regulation and voting numerous times to cut our taxes to help grow our businesses and create jobs for the future. All while working to increase public safety and our quality of life.

•Married for more than 30 years to Henry, whose family settled in St. Augustine 40 years ago
•Son Paul is a graduate of the University of Florida and will graduate University of Florida Medical School May 2015
