Legislative candidate addresses St Augustine Tea Party

Historic City News readers are invited to join members and guests of the St Augustine Tea Party at their regular meeting Tuesday, February 24, 2015 – 6:30 p.m. at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.

The special guest speaker will be Judy Stevens, (I) Candidate for Florida House – District 17, during the Special General Election, April 7, 2015.

Judy Stevens has lived in St. John’s County, Florida for the past 35 years. Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Judy received her BA in History and Education from Michigan State University. Ms. Stevens served with the Red Cross in Viet Nam, and was a part-time teacher in Hutchinson, Kansas. From 1984 to 2006, Judy owned and operated First Coast Travel in Jacksonville Beach, which was one of the Top 10 travel agencies in Jacksonville with 14 employees.

Judy’s fiscally conservative common sense platform consists of – God in our homes and schools; Commitment to Small business, Small government, Small taxes, Better Education without Common Core, Safeguarding our country and our Second Amendment rights, Sanctity of Life, and improving the health of all Floridians.
