Letter: Large campaign contributors expect special treatment

Dear Editor:

I am happy to read that Commissioner Todd Neville has formally scrapped plans to seek a defamation lawsuit against Historic City News.

I am a firm believer in Freedom of the Press.

I am very suspicious when candidates for public office get large sums of money contributed to their campaigns.

Mr. Trump has admitted that he gives money to candidates because he expects special treatment to run his businesses and hopes that this practice can be eliminated in the future — and so do I.
