Saint Augustine Tea Party Chairman, Lance Thate, has invited all Historic City News readers to attend their Tuesday evening meeting when St Augustine Mayor, Nancy Shaver, will address issues of common concern and her plans for the remainder of her two-year term.
The meeting begins with a social at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, a few opening comments by the Chairman, and then the mayor will go on shortly before 7:00 p.m.
“The last election brought about a change at City Hall that impacts all patriots,” Thate told local Historic City News reporters. “We are honored for the opportunity to hear, first hand, from our mayor and look forward to the question and answer period.”
The meeting will be held at the Village Inn, located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine. There is no charge to attend; food and beverage service is at your expense. “Please attend this important presentation, and bring a friend,” Thate said.
