Compassionate St Augustine has invited Historic City News readers to attend a New Years Potluck from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Willie Galimore Center located at 399 Riberia Street on Wednesday, January 14th.
The evening promises great food, companionship and a short program about Obelisk Art 450; an amazing citywide public art tribute to the 450th anniversary of St Augustine.
“We’ll provide beverages, you bring your favorite small or large dish to share,” said Caren Goldman in her announcement. “If you don’t have time to make or grab something, not to worry — there’s always plenty to eat, so just bring you.”
Goldman said the potluck dinners are yummy and the Compassionate St Augustine special events calendar is a blockbuster with activities for people of all ages.
St Augustine’s “Month of Forgiveness and Compassion”, from February 1-28, includes the internationally acclaimed photo-documentary exhibit “The F Word: images of forgiveness”.
