Historic City News readers are invited to join members and guests of the Saint Augustine Tea Party for the February General Meeting, held at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m., when the distinguished guest will be Janet McDonald, M. Ed, LMT, Flagler County School Board Member, District 2.
As you may know, Janet McDonald recently won the Flagler County District 2 School Board race against incumbent John Fischer by a large margin.
Janet’s experience in the field of education includes being a classroom teacher, a language arts specialist, and an educational consultant. Her priorities are to regain local control of school curriculum, and to help make it easier for parents to become involved with their children’s education.
The speaker will discuss her perspective on Common Core, so please join us for a very informative evening. NO admission charge. Open to the public, so bring a friend.
