Tapestry:  The Cultural Threads of First America
This signature St. Augustine 450th Commemoration exhibition shares the story of how three intertwining cultures — Hispanics, Africans and Native Americans — came together to form the foundation of American culture and create the blended society of today’s St. Augustine. This state-of-the-art exhibition features authentic objects, original documents and interactive elements. Jurassic World at the IMAX Theater
The World Golf IMAX Theater presents Jurassic World. Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar, off Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, originally envisioned by John Hammond. Privateers and Pirates Set Sail
Set sail on the tall ship Schooner Freedom and learn about the privateers and pirates that sailed the waters of St. Augustine and the coast of Florida. Galapagos 3D at The IMAX Theater

Curator’s Choice Exhibition at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach

GTM Research Reserve Marineland Lecture
This lecture series is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10 – 11 a.m. at the GTM Research Reserve Marineland Field Office. The series is designed to inform the public about their coastal natural world. The lectures are free so space is limited and reservations are requested. Located at 9741 N. Music by the Sea
Every Wednesday evening through October 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. Music by the Sea live concerts takes place in the beautiful oceanfront setting at The St Johns County Pier Park. This week’s performer is The Grapes of Roth Band playing classic and new rock. Maritime Heritage Foundation Gathering
The St. Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation hosts a Gathering at the St. Augustine Yacht Club. The doors open at 6 p.m. with Yacht Club menu items available for purchase. A guest speaker will make a presentation related to St. Augustine’s rich maritime history. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Movies By The Bay
Ripley’s and the St Augustine Municipal Marina host a family-fun movie every Wednesday through August 5 at 8:30 p.m. at the marina on the bayfront. Admission is free. Bring a blanket or chair. This week’s featured film is Shark Tale – rated PG. There will be free transportation from the St. Augustine Visitor Information Center (VIC) to and from the marina provided by the Red Trains. Pick-ups will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the VIC (10 S. The 9th Annual St. Augustine Music Festival
Free Classical Music Concerts. The St. Augustine Music festival features musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra joined by internationally renowned artists presenting a variety of classical compositions. Celebrating the 450th birthday of the City of St. Augustine these special concert programs, including the world-premiere of a composition commissioned in honor of this notable anniversary are free and take place at the St. Augustine Cathedral Basilica at 7:30 p.m. each evening. U.S. Open Week at the World Golf Hall of Fame

Give Like A Pirate Day
The St. Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum launches “Give Like A Pirate Day”, a new charitable venture with the proceeds benefiting The Betty Griffin House. Tour the Museum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults and $7 for children 5 -12, with snacks and beverages provided. Guided Beach Exploration Guana South Beach
Join GTM Research Reserve Docents from 8:30 – 10 a.m. for a beach walk at the Guana South beach location on A1A, South Ponte Vedra Beach. Learn about the animals that call the beach home as well as seashells and other interesting facts. This is a “Beaches 101” experience that the entire family will enjoy. 16th Annual Vettes at the Village

Cherokee Native American Interpretive History Demonstrations
Enjoy a day of demonstrations by Cherokee Native Historians at the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park. From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., listen and learn about how the Southeastern Cherokee nation interacted with the Timucua tribes in the area for centuries before the arrival of the Europeans. The lectures and demonstration will take place in our living history village of Seloy. Come see our nation’s history told from a fascinating angle! Tolomato Cemetery Guided Tour

The Battle of Bloody Mose
This 7th annual re-enactment of the June 26, 1740 Battle of Bloody Mose provides visitors with an exciting look at this pivotal battle between the British under the command of Georgia’s James Oglethorpe and the Spanish militia composed of former British slaves who had been granted their freedom by the Spanish. On Saturday, the program is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with battle re-enactments at 11 a.m. On Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors can meet re-enactors portraying the various Spanish, British, African and Native American groups present during the battle. The event is free and weather permitting. There is a $2 admission fee to enter the museum. Father’s Day at the Hall of Fame
The World Golf Hall of Fame offers complimentary admission to everyone for Father’s Day and dads get a free round on the putting course. Golf themed movies will be playing free all day in the IMAX theater. Museum will be open from 12 -6 p.m. One World Golf Pl. Schooner Freedom Father’s Day Sail
Celebrate Father’s Special Day with a cruise aboard St. Augustine’s premier tall ship, the Schooner Freedom. Free Community First Night Owl Cinema at the Amphitheatre
Back to the Future is the featured film at 8 p.m. on the big screen at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (gates open at 7 p.m.) The free cinema is presented by Community First Credit Union and the Amphitheatre. Admission and parking are free and no tickets are required. A variety of concessions will be available for purchase. Located at 1340 A1A South, St. Augustine. NOTE: St. Johns County residents with a valid ID are always admitted free of charge to the Oldest House, the Lightner Museum, the Ximenez-Fatio House, the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, City Walks History Mystery Murder Evening Tour, and the Hotel Ponce de Leon Legacy Tours at Flagler College. Every Thursday admission to the First Colony Exhibit at the Government House is also free to SJC residents. The daily tours and wine tastings at the San Sebastian Winery and St. Augustine Distillery are free to everyone. Also, admission is free to everyone at the Fort Matanzas National Monument, St. Photios Chapel, the Pena-Peck House, the Father Miguel O’Reilly Museum and the Mission Nombre de Dios Museum (donations are welcomed).
