Historic City News was informed that a 39-year-old St Johns County man was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license on Monday afternoon.

According to a report filed by Deputy Joshua Butler, the vehicle that Bryce Brandon McKnight, who resides at 941 N. Griffin Shores Drive, in St Augustine, was operating a vehicle which had an expired tag registration.

During the traffic stop, McKnight advised Deputy Butler that his drivers license “may be suspended”.

While attempting to issue a citation for the expired registration and a criminal citation for driving while license suspended or revoked, McKnight became argumentative.

“I was not driving, I was travelling in a personally owned vehicle,” McKnight told the deputy. He was secured without incident and booked into the St Johns County Jail. McKnight was released after posting a $250 bond.
