Two men are being sought in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred Saturday evening.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the residence in the 1200 block of Paradise Pond Rd. Saturday shortly before 10:00 p.m.
The 63-year-old male victim told deputies that he along with his wife and her 12-year-old son arrived at their home and drove into the garage.
As he got out of the vehicle two unknown males rushed into the garage and attacked the male victim.
One of the suspects threw the male victim to the ground and struck him on the head with a handgun and demanded money.
The suspects left the residence with a small amount of cash, a woman’s purse and assorted jewelry.
The suspects were described as black males, one was skinny and the other heavyset. The first suspect was estimated to be 6’ tall, 150 pounds wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans.
Both suspects were armed with handguns and fled in a black Volkswagen.
One left a brown hoodie behind.
