RANDALL WAYNE PENDERGRAFF

St Augustine police reported to Historic City News today that, at about 9:12 p.m. last night, Officer Frankie Shipp and Officer Michael Linsky were called to the Tiger Eleven convenience store on San Marco Avenue where a man had been attacked.

The victim, whose face had the red mark of an open-hand slap, gave a description of his attacker to the officers.

A man matching the description was located a few blocks away on Castillo Drive and identified as 44-year-old Randall Wayne Pendergraff, who gave his address as the homeless shelter located at 70 Washington Street in St Augustine.

Based on a sworn statement from the victim, the officers detained Pendergraff for questioning. Pendergraff threatened the officers saying, “You are going to need better dental insurance, because I am going to knock your teeth out when I’m released from jail”.

Pendergraff was taken into custody, charged with simple battery, a first-degree misdemeanor, and two counts of making threats to a public official, each being a third-degree felony.

At his first appearance today, Pendergraff was allowed bail in the amount of $3000.00. He remains in custody at this time.
