Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Countywide
Lane closures from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Friday at various intersections throughout St. Johns County for roadway line painting.
A1A – Ponte Vedra Boulevard
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Guana Park North Beach Parking to Broken Pottery Drive to remove sand and debris from bike lanes.
A1A – Ponte Vedra Boulevard South to Vilano Beach
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Guana State Park Middle Reserve to Beachcomber Way for shoulder repairs.
A1A South
Daytime southbound lane closures Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Tropic Way to Peppertree Subdivision Development for water main work.
CR-2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to one mile north of CR-210 for SR-9B construction. Lane reductions are in place for the duration of the project.
I-95 – North of SR-16
Nighttime southbound lane closures Sunday from 9 p.m to 5 a.m. for repaving.
SR-13
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. from Greenbriar Road to Roberts Road for tree trimming.
Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Greenbriar Road to Worthington Parkway for electric pole installation.
SR-16 at Whisper Ridge Drive
Daytime eastbound lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a driveway installation.
SR-16 Charles Usina Memorial Highway
Daytime westbound lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and tentative sidewalk closures from 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. from El Ray Avenue to Collins Road for ITS (Intellgent Transportation System) installation.
SR-16 at Inman Road/Harvest Lane
Daytime intermittent lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for traffic signal mast arm work and paving.
SR-207 – Hastings
Daytime lane closures weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for sidewalk work, and lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction over Deep Creek Bridge for bridge work associated with the SR-207 resurfacing and improvement project. Lane reductions on the bridge will be in place several months.
