Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Countywide
Lane closures from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday through Thursday at various intersections throughout St. Johns County for roadway line painting.
County Road 2209/St. Johns Parkway
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to Arabella Way for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions are in place for the duration of the project.
I-95
Daytime lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from International Golf Parkway to State Road 16 for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation.
State Road 13
Daytime southbound lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Otoes Place to Fruit Cove Forest Road South for resurfacing.
State Road 16
Daytime westbound lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from U.S. 1 to Varella Avenue and U.S. 1 northbound left turn lane onto westbound State Road 16 for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation.
State Road 206
Daytime and nighttime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Veronica Court to Seacove Avenue for road widening work.
State Road 207 – Hastings
Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for sidewalk replacement. In addition, lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction over Deep Creek Bridge for bridge work. Lane reductions on the bridge will be in place for several months.
U.S.1
Nighttime southbound lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Old Mission Avenue to West Castillo Drive for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation.
