St. Johns County Continuum of Care invites all Historic City News readers to participate in this year’s Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week event to be held at Dining with Dignity, Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Bridge Street and Granada Street.
Dining with Dignity, sponsored by Home Again St Johns, has announced that nurses with Wildflower Clinic will be on-site providing free flu shots and medical check-ups for those in need.
“Wednesday’s event allows our community to share our compassion with our neighbors without access to food and shelter,” spokesperson, Kassy Guy-Johanessen, told local reporters. “Our partner church group, Good News Church, will be providing the meal for Dining with Dignity guests.”
