Letter: What an honor it is to file for re-election.

The past 3+ years have been full and rewarding. I have learned and grown both personally and professionally. As I look back, I am proud of the things that I have accomplished. As I look forward, I am inspired by what I hope to continue to accomplish.

Being a commissioner takes dedication, a LOT of time, and a deep understanding of so many different fields of expertise; of people and their hopes and needs; and of the opportunity that we all have to work hard to make this a better world.

I am ready, willing and able to do just that.

Although I have been able to accomplish a lot, a commissioner’s time is not just spent “doing”. A commissioner must also spend time listening and learning. Above all else, I have learned what a wonderful county we have; and that is because of all of us who call St. Johns County our home.

I believe that with hard work, diligence and experienced leadership, St Johns County can continue to enjoy a high quality of life and continue to attract new businesses and opportunities for our future generations. I have made that my personal initiative.

My family heritage holds that we have a civic duty to offer our individual gifts to our society. In keeping with that, I am stepping up, once again, to offer my years of experience, my energy and time to the residents and businesses of St. Johns County.

I look forward to continuing to serve you as your County Commissioner.
