Historic City News was informed by St Johns County Sheriff’s spokesman, Commander Charles E. Mulligan, that Major Crimes Unit detectives are investigating an early morning robbery that occurred soon after 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
The man entered the store and passed a note to the clerk demanding money. After the clerk complied, the suspect fled the store on foot toward the intersection of Main Street and SR-207.
According to the incident report, the robbery was committed by a white man, balding with salt and pepper, shoulder length hair and scruffy beard, wearing a camouflage print long sleeve shirt and pants, and black shoes.
