A mobile FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be open at the Willie Galimore Community Center, 399 Riberia St., in St Augustine beginning Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Those residents impacted by Hurricane Matthew who still need assistance with obtaining emergency relief from the federal agency should visit this location from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. November 11th through November 15th (closed Sunday).
“The Disaster Recovery Center serves as a one-stop shop for eligible storm survivors seeking one-on-one help,” St Johns County spokesman Michael Ryan told local Historic City News reporters.
Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and various state agencies will travel to Crescent Beach, from November 16th through November 19th, according to District 3 County Commissioner Bill McClure.
“We have arranged for the center to visit Crescent Beach Park, 6930 A1A South, for four additional days to answer questions and provide assistance to residents here,” McClure said.
