Historic City News readers are invited to attend when novelist Andrea Chapin will read from her work, “The Tutor” as part of the Writers-in-Residence series at Flagler College on January 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the Flagler Room.
Chapin’s novel of historical fiction imagines an early muse for a young William Shakespeare, and has been written up for its unique take on the Bard in publications like The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly.
Chapin has been an editor with art, movie, theater and literary magazines, including The Paris Review, Conjunctions and The Lincoln Center Theater Review. She has written for such publications as More, Redbook, Town & Country, Self, Martha Stewart Living and others. Chapin lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held in the Flagler Room, 74 King Street.
