Police searching for person of interest in sexual battery

The St. Augustine Police Department has asked Historic City News readers to help locate 22-year-old Moise Bados-Zavala in connection to a sexual battery investigation that has been ongoing since late February.

Detective Jeffrey Collins told Historic City News this morning that he cannot say anything further about the details of the crime and refused to confirm the location or any of the circumstances of the alleged attack.

Bados-Zavala is not a suspect, according to televised reports of today’s request for assistance, although police are calling him a “person of interest”.

Collins did say that he has exhausted all efforts to locate Bados-Zavala on his own, although he refused to provide any known former addresses, employment, or type of vehicle that could be helpful in locating this person of interest.
