Local Historic City News reporters were informed that in conjunction with the St. Johns County Trails Coalition, St. Johns County Parks and Recreation is hosting a Trails Symposium to discuss the future of non-motorized multi-use trails throughout the County.
The symposium is free and open to the public from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on October 5th at Nocatee Crosswater Hall, 245 Nocatee Center Way.
Participants will have an opportunity to contribute through small break out discussions conducted by the East Coast Green Alliance, the Ponte Vedra Greenway Alliance, the St. Johns County Horse Council, the St. Johns County Audubon, the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association, and Velofest Community Initiative.
Public input is vital to identifying and prioritizing trails in St. Johns County that could connect local, regional, statewide, and national trail systems.
