Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend the General meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party being held Tuesday, January 12, at the Village Inn, 900 N. Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine. The meeting is open to the public, and there is no admission charge to attend the program.
The distinguished speaker will be Kenneth F. Wood III, USN (Ret.) who will be evaluating the presidential candidates on the basis of the Constitution.
“In these perilous times, with the federal government imposing it’s will without regard to the limits placed on it, it is imperative that each citizen have a thorough understanding of the Constitution,” Wood said in his announcement. “The Constitution is the only thing that stands between liberty, as we have known it, and tyranny.”
Ken Wood is a constitutional trainer and a member of the Jacksonville Oath Keepers. Mr. Wood received multiple awards from the Navy and Marine Corps, throughout his 20 year military career. Before retiring from Naval Air Station Jacksonville in 2013, he served in seven deployments to the Persian Gulf.
With the Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment as his guiding principles, Mr. Wood serves as the Florida State Oath Keepers Active Duty Military and Veteran’s Liaison, and continues to be an outspoken proponent of America’s Constitutional, Spiritual, and Naval Heritage. Ken has always enjoyed sharing his faith in God and knowledge about our founding documents with Sailors, Marines, and lovers of Liberty who remain dedicated to the principles of freedom and obedience to the U S Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land.
