Ken Rucker will discuss Article VI of the US Constitution

Posted on 02/11/2018 By Historic City News

You are patriotically invited to attend the Open Meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party on Tuesday evening, February 13th at 6:30 p.m., held at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard, in Saint Augustine.

Our special guest this month will be Ken Rucker, co-coordinator for the Article 6 Northeast Florida region. Historic City News readers may know that Article 6 is a principled team of active and veteran military, law enforcement, first responders, elected officials and patriotic individuals who have sworn an oath to preserve and defend the Constitution.

Their name comes from both Article VI of the United States Constitution as well as Article VI of the United States Military code of conduct, which states: “I will never forget that I am an American, fighting for freedom, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.”

Their mission is to preserve the foundation America was built upon and ensure that the Rights of all Americans are protected from all enemies. Further, it is their goal to ensure that the “supreme law of the land” is being honored and upheld, as defined in Article VI of the Constitution.

Rucker also serves as part of the Article 6 statewide leadership team, and his presentation will focus on the Article 6 organization, community training, and response teams.
