“It’s a huge night for Ron DeSantis and the people of Florida. Tonight, the supposed blue wave hit a BIG RED WALL,” said RPOF Chairman Blaise Ingoglia.
Analysts confirm that several contests were very close at different times in the evening, with one candidate inching ahead or falling behind their opponent. The spikes were sometimes credited to the certification of one group of precincts or the other where those precincts were predominately Republican or Democrat. But, once again, Floridians cast their vote to keep Florida RED.
Republicans say that in the race for Florida Governor, the state has chosen:
- -prosperity over empty promises
- -free markets over big government
- -a veteran over a career politician
To the voters, this election appeared to be as much a mandate to continue the path set by Republican Governor Rick Scott as it is a wholesale rejection of the policies that Andrew Gillum was espousing on the campaign trail.
“The RPOF congratulates Governor-elect Ron DeSantis on his well-deserved victory Chairman Blaise Ingoglia told local Historic City News reporters. “We look forward to working with his Administration to continue creating jobs, strengthening our economy and securing a more prosperous future for all Floridians.“
