St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club announced to local Historic City News entertainment reporters that the 16th Annual Rhythm and Ribs Festival in April will feature the nationally recognized Jacksonville home-grown J.J. Grey and Mofro.
Voted St. Augustine’s best festival the past 10 years by The People’s Choice Awards, this year’s event will be held April 15th, 16th and 17th.
J.J.Grey & Mofro will perform Saturday, April 16, 2010 at the 16th Annual Rhythm and Ribs Festival and previously appeared at Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Festival and Montreal Jazz Festival. B. B. King, The Allman Brothers Band and Booker T. Jones have all shared a stage with J.J.Grey & Mofro.
Each year, all proceeds from the festival go toward local charities, scholarships, and international humanitarian efforts sponsored by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club.
The Rhythm and Ribs Festival is famous for its award winning, scrumptious barbecue and non-stop music all weekend.
