Kathleen Floryan reported a special Mother’s Day Shopping Experience to Historic City News that will benefit Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
Our readers have been invited for an afternoon of flowering abundance this Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Local growers and retailers will display a vast assortment of blooming orchids available for silent auction.
Prizes will be awarded for the most Unique, Exotic, Beautiful, and Rare Orchids.
Members of the St. Augustine Orchid Society will do the judging.
All proceeds from the silent auction will help benefit the Bailey Family Center for Caring Community Hospice of Northeast Florida; to be built on the Flagler Hospital campus.
Orchid donations will be accepted from retailers and independent growers through Saturday, May 2, 2009.

Donations may be dropped off between 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday May 2, at 3101 Harbor Drive, Camachee Island, St Augustine.
This open house event is free to the public and will feature door prizes, hor d’ourves and entertainment at 3101 Harbor Drive, Camachee Island, St Augustine.
Orchids will be on display throughout this exquisite condo designed by D’Angelo Kitchen and Bath.
