From witness accounts, a composite drawing has been produced and forwarded to Historic City News by Traffic Homicide Investigator, Deputy J.D. McGinnis, in hopes that our readers may recognize it as someone they know.
Forensic examination of debris collected at the SR-214 crash site on Wednesday, April 13th, indicates that the vehicle that struck and killed 23 year-old Bryan B. Wrigley is a blue Ford pickup truck.
The photograph shown below is similar in appearance to the assailant’s vehicle; based on the crime scene evidence analyzed.
The witness said that there was apparent damage to the truck. McGinnis said the vehicle is believed to have sustained a degree of front-end damage “sufficient to render it disabled”. The vehicle is most likely leaking fluids. The witness described the driver as a white male — possibly in his 20′s and provided further details to police artist Vinny Russo.
McGinnis reports that damage to the vehicle involved should be apparent in the area of the front driver’s side bumper and headlight.
